Such great work can happen when the whole family gets involved. As we know individuals within a family are not solely responsible for dysfunction, the individual is often the symptom of a problem within the system or family. When families come to therapy it is a good sign that they are seeking deep change. We will uncover what is being covertly communicated within the family, how the family responds to pain, stress, or transitions and alternate ways for coping, communication challenges, responses to rigidity, or issues with boundaries, etc. Family therapy is extremely beneficial, even if at first one person is being identified as the primary cause for concern.
